Using this website
Terms
These terms explain the ground rules for using corieslife.com, its original content, and the links and services made available through it.
Effective and last updated: July 27, 2026
1. Acceptance and scope
By using this website, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
These terms apply to the main Corie's Life website. Amazon, Shopify, Calendly, community platforms, social-media sites, and other services reached through this website have their own terms and policies.
2. Educational and personal content
The website shares Corie's personal experiences, book information, recipes, reflections, research interests, and general educational material. It is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, tax, financial, or other individualized advice.
Health-related content is also governed by the Medical Disclaimer. You are responsible for deciding whether and how any information is appropriate for your circumstances.
3. Living-benefit information
Information about life insurance and living benefits is general education, not a quote, contract, guarantee of coverage, or promise that a claim will be paid. Products, riders, definitions, eligibility, costs, exclusions, and availability vary by carrier, policy, state, underwriting, and individual circumstances.
Any insurance coverage is governed only by the issued policy and carrier documents. A conversation with Corie does not create coverage or alter a policy's terms.
4. Email and communications
If you join the email list, you authorize Corie's Life to send the updates described at signup. You may unsubscribe at any time. Messages submitted by email or through a scheduling service do not create a confidential, fiduciary, medical-provider, attorney-client, or other professional relationship.
5. Third-party services and links
Links are provided for convenience and do not mean Corie's Life controls or guarantees another site's content, products, availability, security, or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party service is between you and that service.
Prices, inventory, product descriptions, community availability, and scheduling options shown on third-party sites may change without notice.
6. Ownership and permitted use
Unless otherwise stated, the original writing, design, illustrations, photographs, branding, and other website content belong to Corie's Life or are used with permission. You may view and share links to public pages for personal, noncommercial purposes.
You may not republish, sell, scrape, reproduce, or commercially exploit substantial portions of the website without written permission, except where applicable law allows it.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use this website to break the law, interfere with the website or another visitor, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious code, collect information about others without permission, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
8. Availability and warranties
Corie's Life works to keep the website useful and accurate, but content may contain errors or become outdated. The website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without promises that access will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.
Nothing on the website guarantees a health, financial, insurance, community, business, or other outcome.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, Corie's Life will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of—or inability to use—the website, reliance on its content, or use of a third-party service. Some jurisdictions do not allow every limitation, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
10. Changes and governing law
These terms may be updated as the website and its services change. The effective date above shows when the latest version took effect. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply from that point forward.
These terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where another law must apply.
